Whether you can take Tadalafil at the same time as your other medications will depend on which medications you are taking.
You are required to complete a short medical consultation questionnaire that asks for any medications that you are prescribed from your GP and will indicate the medications that can’t be taken alongside Tadalafil.
There are several medicines which should not be taken concurrently with Tadalafil. Medicines which can have potentially serious interactions with Tadalafil include :-
• Any alpha-blocker medicines e.g. doxazosin (Cardura), alfuzosin (Xatral), tamsulosin, terazosin, or Flomax, that you can buy in the pharmacy. (These medicines may be used to treat prostate problems or high blood pressure).
• Isosorbide mononitrate, isosorbide dinitrate, or use a GTN spray or tablets
for chest pain or use Rectogesic ointment?
• Nicorandil (Ikorel), used to treat angina
• Cimetidine, used to treat stomach or duodenal (peptic) ulcers
• Theophylline, used to treat asthma
• Antibiotics:- Clarithromycin, Erythromycin and Telithromycin
• Anti-fungals such as itraconazole and ketoconazole
• Seizure medication:- carbamazepine, oxcarbazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin and primidone
• Heart or blood pressure medication:- disopyramide, amiodarone, quinidine and procainamide
• Anti-viral medication:- telaprevir, atazanavir, retonavir, indinavir, saquinavir and cobicistat
• Recreational drugs:- amyl nitrate (poppers)
If you are taking any prescribed medication from your GP then you can simply write those in the “Is there any other medical information that you think our doctor should know?” section on the medical questionnaire. Then, our doctor will know whether the Tadalafil is safe for you to take.

Cautions
If you are taking any of the above then inform your doctor before you take Tadalafil that you are taking any of the medicines below.
Skipping a dose
You should not take more Tadalafil than your doctor tells you to.
How over-the-counter medicines can affect the medicines tabYou should only take Tadalafil if you are given the care you are used to. However, you can take Tadalafil if you have heart problems, kidney problems or liver problems.
You can take Tadalafil if you are sexually active at the time of taking it and the doctor has not judged that the patient has a serious medical problem. However, the doctor may charge you for every extra month you have been taking Tadalafil.
You can take Tadalafil even if you have been told to by your doctor.
1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
Levitra usage has been shown to cause some mild side effects. Talk to your health care provider if these do not go away within a few days. If you begin to experience more serious effects, seek medical attention immediately.
Common side effects reported from Levitra use include:
More serious side effects include:
If you experience any of these side effects, seek medical attention immediately. These are symptoms of a serious adverse reaction to this medication and immediately require treatment.
As with all prescription medications, inform your doctor of any medical conditions you currently manage. Tell them about any and all medications, prescription drugs, and supplements you are taking before starting treatment with Levitra. Levitra can interact with bodily substances, causing potentially serious adverse reactions.
Do not take Levitra if you take nitrate medications such as isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, and nitroglycerin. It’s important to inform your doctor if you are taking any form of high blood pressure medication, alpha-blocker medication, prescription antifungals (like fluconazole), or other medications for erectile dysfunction. You should include information about herbal products, especially St. John’s wort.
Do not drink grapefruit juice while taking Levitra.
Talk to your health care provider about safe drinking practices during treatment with Levitra. Levitra can interact with alcohol and cause potentially serious adverse reactions like those above.

Levitra is primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men to improve blood flow to the penis, facilitating an erection during sexual activity. Levitra works by increasing blood flow to the penis, helping men achieve and maintain an erection.
A typical Levitra candidate for is an individual who is 18 or older, has mild to moderate erectile dysfunction, and is currently taking a nitrate medication, alpha-blockers, or other form of high blood pressure medication.
Cialis and Levitra are two of the most widely prescribed medications for erectile dysfunction. They are both fast-acting medications, but they have their differences. In this article, we’ll compare their effects on erectile dysfunction, and discuss their similarities and differences.
Levitra, or tadalafil, is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor that has been used for many years for erectile dysfunction. The main active ingredient in Levitra is vardenafil.
Levitra is a PDE5 inhibitor, meaning it blocks the action of a chemical in the body called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). It relaxes cGMP and increases blood flow to the penis. This medication has also been used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. Levitra is not an aphrodisiac and does not increase sexual desire.
Levitra works by increasing blood flow to the penis when the person is sexually stimulated. This allows for improved sexual activity. Cialis is also used to treat erectile dysfunction in men.
Cialis and Levitra are both fast-acting medications for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. They are both highly effective and generally well-tolerated by most users. However, there are some differences between them.
Common side effects of Cialis and Levitra include headaches, flushing, indigestion, and muscle aches. These side effects are usually mild and tend to improve over time. Cialis is also generally well-tolerated by most users, so the risk of these side effects is lower than with Levitra. In general, the common side effects of Cialis are mild and temporary. However, most users tolerate these side effects well.
Levitra and Cialis are both PDE5 inhibitors. Both medications are designed to block the action of a chemical called cGMP. However, Levitra is unique in that it also blocks the action of nitric oxide, which is a chemical that plays a key role in the smooth muscle cells in the penis.
Levitra and Cialis have similar side effects, including headache, flushing, and upset stomach. However, Cialis may cause more severe side effects, such as vision changes and priapism (a prolonged erection).
Levitra and Cialis are both fast-acting medications for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. They have similar efficacy, but they work differently. Levitra does not work as quickly or effectively as Cialis.
Levitra and Cialis have been shown to be effective in treating erectile dysfunction and improving sexual function in men. Cialis, however, has been associated with more severe side effects, such as vision changes and priapism (a prolonged erection).
Levitra and Cialis have been associated with side effects that usually improve over time. Side effects that usually improve over time include:
Headache
Flushing
Indigestion
Mild abdominal pain
Back pain
Levitra and Cialis are PDE5 inhibitors. They work by inhibiting the action of a chemical called cGMP.
